Friendship rocks are pairs of matching rocks that have been lovingly crafted by children, to let someone know that they care. The friend holds the matching rock and the child keeps the other, to remind them of each other when they aren't together.
My daughter initially had this idea to make lots of stones and sell them to raise money for the NSPCC. However that's not really logistically possible, so we have thrown it into your hands. Please donate £1 to download our worksheet and have an afternoons fun, making something wonderful for a friend.
We have recycled old jewellery packaging for our Friendship Rocks, but feel free to improvise with whatever you have. We have recently added a downloadable box template also so the children can make their own packaging now too.
We would love to see your creations! Please tweet them or email them on the contact page and we will add them to the gallery!
Thanks for getting involved!
UPDATE: Lola is super thankful to everyone who has donated so far. We are over the £150 mark! Please keep sending your pictures in!
